The Spanish nautical market has registered 535 recreational boat registrations in the first two months of 2024, showing the decline in sales that has been occurring since the middle of last year in boats under 16 metres. On the other hand, boats over 16 metres in length improved their registration figures.
Of the total number of boats registered up to the end of February, 68% correspond to boats for private use and 32% to boats for charter, which continues to increase its market share.
These are the data collected in the “Report on the recreational boat market. January-February 2024”, published by ANEN (Spanish Yachting Association), of which I am tax advisor, based on data provided by the General Directorate of Merchant Marine.
